Stellar Awards winner, Cedric Bailey to be honored as the first Spin Awards Radio Announcer Of The Decade

Cedric Bailey will become the first person to be honored as Radio Announcer Of The Decade during the 7th Annual Spin Awards Weekend Experience for his remarkable 30+ years in radio. The Spin Awards (TSA) is a national platform that is the first and only organization that exclusively honors those who spin the Gospel. TSA is set to take place in the Atlanta Georgia area and is the biggest weekend in Christian Gospel radio. The dates are Oct 12-14, 2023.

Bailey’s outstanding career includes being one of the first African-Americans that worked for KTLS 93.3 FM as a radio announcer and a sports reporter for KTEN Channel 10. His gospel syndicated radio show airs in 53 markets across the USA. Cedric has broadcasted from Mega fest with Bishop T. D. Jakes, The Stellar Awards in Nashville Tennessee at the Grand Ole Opry House and many other events such as concerts with gospel artists like Vickie Winans, Dorinda Clark Cole, the late Rance Allen and others.

Since its 2017 inaugural inception, The Spin Awards has united radio, artists, media and other industry professionals in an appealing prestigious setting to celebrate the achievements of radio within the Christian Gospel radio industry. These spinners make meaningful contributions to the ears of listeners, yet rarely receive the recognition for their work.

TSA will be hosted by Stellar Awards nominee and WFMV Radio Program Director Tony Gee and co-hosted by Comedian “GRIFF” of the Get Up! Mornings With Erica Campbell Radio Show. Special celebrity appearances by Everett Drake, of the Bobby Jones Gospel TV Show and the “I Told The Storm” legendary singer, Dr. Greg O’Quin. The first two days of the Spin Awards will include free workshops, showcases and TSA pre-ceremony. The last day concludes with a Red Carpet gala and the Saturday night main ceremony (ticketed).
