Tracy Morgan (The Tracy Morgan Show) is nationally syndicated on the Rejoice Musical Soul Food Radio Network. She is also the Program Director and Morning Show Host on 1480 AM WBBP in Memphis, TN. Tracy has been in the Broadcasting Communication Industry for over 30 years. For nearly a decade she was a popular host on the CBS owned Heaven 1580 in Washington DC. She has won multiple Stellar Awards including one for Announcer of the Year. Tracy served on the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy Advisory Board from 2004-2010. Tracy was awarded the Reach Award for Outstanding Achievement by an Announcer at the 2014 Stellar Awards. The Reach Awards recognizes the accolades and achievements of radio announcers. Since becoming the Program Director at 1480 WBBP in 2012, the station has been nominated for a Stellar Award four times for Large Market Radio Station of the Year. In 2015, WBBP won for Radio Station of the Year-Large Market under Tracy’s leadership. Tracy has held many positions in radio including Program Director, Music Director and Producer. She’s worked for CBS Radio, Salem Communications and Radio One. Tracy has maintained high ratings and popularity while hosting Mornings, Middays and Afternoon Drive positions on the air. In 2002 Tracy started “The Tracy Morgan Radio Show” to expand her talents outside of the Washington, DC area. Tracy has also made several TV appearances including The Word Network and BET. She’s hosted her own television show “In Praise” a video gospel music program. In 2005, Tracy was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio. She was also inducted into the Columbia School of Broadcasting Hall of Fame. She has received numerous awards throughout her career. In addition to Tracy’s busy schedule in radio and television she remains actively involved in the community. She gives back to the community with her annual “Back to School with New Shoes” campaign that helps families in need by providing new shoes for kids. Tracy’s number one priority is God and her family. One of her favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. She is married to Keith and together they have one daughter, Katrina.
